Synopsis
This chapter explains that a disease, specifically targeting amphibian mucous membranes, was deliberately introduced to the frogmen by an insect summoner after Lakrak left their sacred land. This led to the disappearance of their leader, Auloi, and intensified their fanaticism. Meanwhile, lizardmen are about to sacrifice children to their god, a two-headed fiend, residing on an island. The protagonists are alerted, but their attempt to save the children is hindered by a lack of trust, slow communication, and the perilous nature of swimming to the island, which is defended by frogmen.
