Synopsis
Penelope is informed about Eclis's living situation, discovering that despite being bought from slavery, he is still treated as such by the other knights and even lacks a proper instructor. She reflects on the limitations of simply buying him and realizes she needs to find a way to grant him an identity. After learning of his harsh treatment, Penelope dresses up elaborately and goes to the training grounds where she witnesses Eclis being mistreated by other apprentices for breaking training equipment. This pushes her to further intervene.
